วัตถุประสงค์

การประกวดภาพถ่าย ช้าง ไฟน์อาร์ท อินเตอร์เนชันแนล โฟโต คอนเทสต์ ครั้งที่ 8 เป็นโครงการที่บริษัท ไทยเบฟเวอเรจ จำกัด (มหาชน) จัดขึ้นต่อเนื่องเป็นปีที่ 8 โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ในการส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนนักถ่ายภาพที่มีความสนใจการถ่ายภาพในแนวทางไฟน์อาร์ท (Fine Art Photography) ซึ่งเป็นลักษณะภาพถ่ายที่เน้นเรื่องของแนวความคิดและมีมุมมองทางศิลปะที่แสดงออกถึงจินตนาการของศิลปินได้อย่างกว้างไกลให้ได้มีเวทีในการแสดงออกถึงแนวความคิดและผลงานการถ่ายภาพและเพื่อเป็นการส่งเสริมวงการถ่ายภาพในประเทศไทยให้เกิดความหลากหลายในรูปแบบของการถ่ายภาพยิ่งขึ้น และเพื่อส่งเสริมให้ศิลปินถ่ายภาพชาวไทยก้าวขึ้นสู่เวทีนานาชาติมากยิ่งขึ้นกว่าปัจจุบัน การประกวดนี้กำหนดจัดขึ้นปีละ 1 ครั้ง โดยได้รับความร่วมมือจากสมาคมถ่ายภาพแห่งประเทศไทย ในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ เป็นผู้ดำเนินการ

ประเภทของภาพถ่าย

การประกวดภาพถ่าย ช้าง ไฟน์อาร์ท อินเตอร์เนชันแนล โฟโต คอนเทสต์ ครั้งที่ 8 นี้ กำหนดให้ผู้ร่วมส่งภาพเข้าประกวด “จะต้องส่งภาพถ่ายเป็นชุด” โดยมีจำนวนภาพในแต่ละชุดไม่น้อยกว่า 3 ภาพ และไม่เกิน 5 ภาพต่อ 1 ชุด โดยทุกภาพในชุดเดียวกัน จะต้องเป็นภาพที่มีแนวความคิดที่สัมพันธ์ต่อเนื่องเป็นอันหนึ่งอันเดียวกันตามหัวข้อที่คณะกรรมการอำนวยการประกวดกำหนดขึ้น

วิธีการส่งภาพถ่ายประกวด

• ส่งภาพถ่ายผ่านระบบเว็บของสมาคมฯ เท่านั้น
• ผู้ประสงค์จะส่งภาพถ่ายเข้าประกวดจะต้องลงทะเบียนสมัครที่ http://www.rpst.or.th/changfineart8 โดยผู้สมัครจะต้องกรอกรายละเอียด พร้อมสร้าง Username และ Password ขึ้นมาเอง และสามารถส่งภาพถ่ายได้ทันที

กำหนดการส่งผลงาน

• เปิดให้ทำการอัพโหลดผลงานภาพ : วันที่ 17 กุมภาพันธ์ 2563
• ปิดรับผลงานภาพ : วันที่ 29 กุมภาพันธ์ 2563 เวลา 18.00 น. (เวลาประเทศไทย)

• รางวัลชนะเลิศ จำนวนเงิน 300,000 บาท (สามแสนบาทถ้วน) จำนวน 1 รางวัล

กติกาและเงื่อนไขข้อกำหนด

• การส่งภาพถ่ายเข้าประกวด ให้ส่งในรูปแบบไฟล์ดิจิทัลเท่านั้น โดยการส่งภาพผ่านระบบเว็บไซต์ของสมาคมฯ www.rpst.or.th/changfineart8
• ภาพที่ส่งเข้าประกวดสามารถใช้เทคนิคการตกแต่งภาพได้อย่างไม่มีข้อจำกัด
• ผู้ส่งภาพเข้าประกวดจะต้องสมัครเข้าร่วมโครงการผ่านทางเว็บไซต์ของสมาคมฯ โดยผู้ที่ส่งภาพเข้าประกวดจะต้องเป็นผู้ถ่ายภาพนั้น ๆ ด้วยตนเอง ห้ามนำภาพของผู้อื่นมาส่ง หรือส่งในนามผู้อื่นโดยเด็ดขาด หากฝ่าฝืนจะถูกตัดสิทธิ์ไม่ให้ส่งเข้าประกวดในรายการนี้อีกต่อไป
• เมื่อเข้าร่วมการประกวด ผู้ส่งภาพเข้าประกวดจะยอมรับและรับประกันว่ารูปถ่ายที่ส่งมานั้นเป็นผลงานต้นฉบับที่สร้างขึ้นโดยผู้เข้าประกวดแต่เพียงผู้เดียว ซึ่งรูปถ่ายดังกล่าวจะต้องไม่เป็นการละเมิดลิขสิทธิ์ ธรรมสิทธิ์ และ/หรือ สิทธิส่วนบุคคล ของบุคคลที่สาม
• บริษัท ไทยเบฟเวอเรจ จำกัด (มหาชน) และสมาคมถ่ายภาพแห่งประเทศไทย ในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์จะไม่รับผิดชอบใด ๆ และจะไม่รับผิดต่อการละเมิดลิขสิทธิ์และสิทธิในความเป็นส่วนตัวของผู้ส่งภาพเข้าประกวดแต่อย่างใด
• ผู้ส่งภาพเข้าประกวดจะต้องส่งภาพถ่ายเป็นชุด โดยมีจำนวนภาพในชุดระหว่าง 3-5 ภาพ โดยแต่ละภาพในชุด จะต้องมีเนื้อหาที่มีความสอดคล้องเป็นชุดเดียวกัน
• ผู้เข้าประกวดสามารถส่งผลงานภาพถ่ายได้คนละไม่เกิน 3 ชุด
• ผู้ส่งภาพเข้าประกวดจะต้องตั้งชื่อชุดภาพและเขียนคำอธิบายแนวความคิดของภาพแต่ละชุด ไม่เกิน 300 อักษร
• ผู้ที่ส่งภาพเข้าประกวด สามารถใช้ได้ทั้งกล้องที่ใช้ฟิล์ม หรือดิจิทัลในการถ่ายภาพ และสามารถสร้างสรรค์ภาพถ่ายได้อย่างเสรี โดยไม่จำกัดเทคนิคและวิธีการ
• ไฟล์ภาพที่ส่งต้องเป็นไฟล์ภาพที่มี ขนาดด้านที่สั้นที่สุดไม่ต่ำกว่า 1024 pixels และด้านที่ยาวที่สุดไม่ยาวกว่า 4,000 pixel ในรูปแบบ .jpg เท่านั้น โดยผู้เข้าประกวดทุกท่านจะต้องเก็บภาพต้นฉบับความละเอียดสูงไว้ ในกรณีที่คณะกรรมการได้คัดเลือกภาพของท่านให้ได้รับรางวัลหรือนำไปตีพิมพ์ในหนังสือ และจัดนิทรรศการ ผู้เข้าแข่งขันจะต้องส่งภาพต้นฉบับมาให้คณะกรรมการจัดงานภายหลัง
• สมาคมถ่ายภาพแห่งประเทศไทย คำนึงถึงความสำคัญของการรบกวนสิทธิส่วนบุคคลและศักดิ์ศรีความเป็นมนุษย์ รวมถึงเสรีภาพในเรื่องความเชื่อและการนับถือศาสนา ภาพที่แสดงการล่วงล้ำพื้นที่ส่วนตัว แสดงการเยียบย่ำ ลดทอนศรัทธา เหยียดชาติพันธุ์ ดูหมิ่นลัทธิความเชื่อต่างๆ จะไม่ได้รับการพิจารณาเข้าร่วมประกวด
• ภาพถ่ายที่ส่งเข้าประกวดต้องไม่มีข้อผูกมัดในเรื่องลิขสิทธิ์ภาพจากหน่วยงานต่าง ๆ รวมไปถึงต้องไม่ใช่ภาพที่ส่งขายตาม Stock Photo ทุกแห่ง ทั้งนี้คณะผู้จัดงานจะไม่รับผิดชอบเรื่องการละเมิดลิขสิทธิ์ที่เจ้าของผลงานมีสัญญาผูกพันต่อบุคคลหรือหน่วยงานใด ๆ ซึ่งเจ้าของผลงานต้องเป็นผู้รับผิดชอบในกรณีนี้เอง
• คณะกรรมการตัดสินภาพถ่ายโครงการช้าง ไฟน์อาร์ท อินเตอร์เนชันแนล โฟโต คอนเทสต์ ครั้งที่ 8 และคณะกรรมการบริหารสมาคมถ่ายภาพแห่งประเทศไทย ในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ ไม่มีสิทธิ์ในการส่งภาพถ่ายเข้าประกวดในครั้งนี้
• คณะผู้จัดงาน มีสิทธิ์คัดเลือกภาพถ่ายที่ส่งเข้าประกวดเพื่อนำไปจัดแสดงในที่ต่าง ๆ และมีสิทธิ์ในการจัดพิมพ์สูจิบัตรจำหน่าย และสมาคมถ่ายภาพแห่งประเทศไทย ในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ สามารถนำไปตีพิมพ์ในนิตยสารของสมาคมฯ ในระยะเวลา 1 ปี โดยไม่ต้องเสียค่าลิขสิทธิ์ภาพให้ผู้ถ่าย แต่ลิขสิทธิ์ของภาพทุกภาพยังคงเป็นของผู้ถ่ายภาพอย่างสมบูรณ์
• การตัดสินของคณะกรรมการถือเป็นที่สิ้นสุด

Objective

The Chang Fine Art International Photo Contest was initiated in 2011 by Thai Beverage Public Company Limited (ThaiBev) and is an annual event organized in collaboration with The Royal Photographic Society of Thailand (RPST). We aim to promote and support fine art photography and photographers at an international level.

Required Works

The Contest calls for participants of any nationality to submit their work as a set, a set must contain a minimum of three photographs and not exceeding five photographs. The image should be the same related concept complying with the competition theme assigned by RPST.

Eligibility

The Contest is open to all, professional and amateur photographers, regardless of age, sex or nationality.

• After completing the registration, entrants will be able to submit the photographs from 17-29 February 2020.

Rules and Regulations

• The photographic entries must be in digital format and submitted to the Contest program by uploading the files through www.rpst.or.th/changfineart8
• Any photo-shooting technique or image manipulation technique is welcome.
• Entrants must apply and enroll in the Contest program via RPST website. You must fill out the application form in English, include your name, address, phone number, your email address and the number of your passport or ID number.
• The competition calls for participants to submit their work as a set. A set must have at least 3 images and no more than 5, (single images will not be considered). The images in the set should be of the same related concept. In the event that more than one set is being submitted, please place each set in separate folders and label them clearly.
• Entrants can submit up to 3 sets and must:
  1. Label each photograph in their right sequence
  2. Provide a title for each photograph
  3. Provide a name for each set/folder
  4. Provide a written concept for each set (no more than 300 words)
• The photograph may be taken with a digital or film camera; in the event of using film you must scans the negatives or transparencies and sent in the files.
• Each photographic entry must have the longest side not exceed 4,000 pixels and the shortest side must be over 1,024 pixels and in jpg format only. Higher resolution files will be requested in the event that participants have won prizes or in the event that participants are chosen to have their works exhibited.
• Each submitted photograph, in its entirety, must be an original work taken by the photographer submitting the work. By entering the Contest the entrant acknowledges and warrants that the submitted photograph is an original work created solely by the entrant, that the photograph does not infringe on the copyrights, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, and that no other party has any right, title, claim or interest in the photograph.
• Contestants shall not violate anti-discrimination laws in any country. Others’ religions and spiritual beliefs, privacy, right should be respected in the body of works.
• RPST and ThaiBev shall assume no responsibility and are not liable for any infringement of copyright and right of privacy made by the entrants.
• Committee members of The Royal Photographic Society of Thailand and judges cannot participate in this competition.
• By entering the Contest, all entrants grant an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive license to Authorized Parties, to reproduce, display and create derivative works of the entries (along with a name credit) in connection with the Contest and promotion of the Contest, in any media now or hereafter known, including, but not limited to: Display at a potential exhibition of winners; publication of a book or catalogue featuring select entries in the Contest; publication in RPST magazine or online highlighting entries or winners of the Contest.
• The decision of the judges is final.
